Another happy guest at the Treehouse

Loved my stay at the Treehouse! I was supposed to go with friends but they had an emergency that kept them in Melbourne, so I ended up on a little solo trip. This was the perfect spot. The windows are really cleverly designed so it is bright, cool, and breezy, at 31 C I did not need aircon at all, and exactly zero bugs got in even with them wide open. There’s also a nice guitar on site if you play, or want to learn, so that was fun to try out. The neighborhood is super safe - pool was all to myself. The brief walk into town is long enough to be refreshing and keep you away from the noise (it’s very noisy in Port Douglas at night!) and short enough that you don’t get sweaty.
