terms and conditions
Rates :
All rates are inclusive of GST and quoted in Australian dollars. By booking, you agree with and abide by these Terms and Conditions. Rates may increase without notice due to any changes in or the imposition of government charges taxes or levies. Guests will be notified where possible of any increases.
Check-in / check-out.
Check in time is 3.00pm and check out is 10.00am. We will try wherever possible to accommodate early arrival and/or late departure.
Deposit & final payment.
We accept bank transfer only. We take a non refundable 30 per cent deposit and the rest two months before arrival.
Cancellation policy.
We have a strict cancellation policy, so please get travel insurance as a lot of life happens while making holiday plans. The deposit is non refundable and once the balance is paid, this is also non refundable. Tariff also applies to no-shows.
Modifications and changes aren’t permitted; 100% cancellation fee applies.
Luggage storage.
If possible, you can drop off luggage early.
Children policy.
We love children and our homes are very child friendly.
Internet.
We provide guests with free wifi internet and where possible smart TV. The operation of any internet connection during this reservation is not guaranteed and may be disrupted or not available.
Behaviour & noise policy.
Our homes are located in a residential neighbourhood. Please respect our neighbours and other guests and keep noise to a minimum. Unreasonable noise will not be tolerated after 10.00pm.
We reserve the right to request people who are making too much noise at any time of the day or night to leave. No refunds will be applicable. A security company or police may be called to investigate complaints of excessive noise or anti-social behaviour. Any charges incurred by the security company or police will be charged to the credit card provided as security for the booking.
Additional charges.
Management also reserves the right to charge guests for the following, but not restricted to, all damages and breakages, lost keys, missing items, late departure, extra cleaning and unpaid expenses.
Lost key policy.
A $25 charge will apply if keys are lost. Please don’t lose them. In Berlin the replacement cost is 100 euros.
Smoking.
All of our homes are non-smoking. Any traces of residual smoke inside will incur an additional cleaning charge of $200. Any additional costs of cleaning soft furnishings may be added as deemed necessary by management. Please smoke only outside, and please use ashtrays.
Pets.
Pets are not permitted in the grounds of the property.
Left Luggage.
Please take all of your luggage with you. There will be a $40 handling fee for sending left items
Early departure.
No refunds will be given on early departure and any outstanding balance will be deducted from the credit card provided.
Trading terms.
Artists Houses reserves the right to release any or all room space if payment terms are not met.
Cleaning, linen and towels.
We supply linen, pillows, blankets and towels. Please leave linen on beds, and put used towels in bath. Beach towels are included.
If you require a clean and linen change mid stay, a charge of $200 will apply.
If you require additional services please tell us before you check-in. The Property is a smoke free dwelling and must be kept clean and tidy and free of litter (including cigarette butts) at all times. The Property must be left clean and tidy at the end of your reservation. Additional charges will be incurred if extra cleaning of the Property is required.
Unexpected.
Artistshouses will not be in breach of this agreement, or any way liable to any party, if it is prevented from complying with this agreement by reason of act of God, act of public enemy, act of terrorism, war, cyclone, earthquake, riot, explosion, compliance with any law or government restraint order, rule regulations, strike, lockout or any other cause not reasonably within the control of Artistshouses.
Liability.
Artists Houses shall not be liable for any loss or damage at any of our properties.
