Wonderfully unique accommodation

Jane just had a great stay at the Artists' Cottage.

"The Artist's Cottage is a wonderfully unique place to stay in lovely Port Douglas. So many holiday rentals are beige and boring but The Artist's Cottage is full of fabulous artwork and colourful, unusual furnishings. It is a great place to feel artistically inspired in. It is also very comfortable and has everything you need for a great stay. The bed was comfy, there were lots of great coffee table books to peruse, we loved having the balcony doors open at both ends of the building allowing the warm breeze to pass right through the "cottage" and it was great having a BBQ on the balcony. The kitchen is well set up to enable you to cook up a storm, but there are lots of good dining options in town too. Tina, your host, provides a very thorough written guide to Port Douglas, which was much appreciated. The cottage is in walking distance to lovely 4 Mile Beach and fairly close to the centre of town. It is a perfect spot for some relaxation and romance. We certainly look forward to returning some day in the not too distance future!"
